HOW TO MAKE 6 FIGURES WITH AFFILIATE MARKETING
A lot of people have explored Affiliate Marketing and concluded that it doesn’t work or it’s a scam. Some have spent lots of money on videos and books on Affiliate Marketing but have continually failed. There are several productive products that you can earn hugely from by signing up as an Affiliate Marketer.
This article will address what you’ve been doing wrong and how to do it right. It will also address the process and skills needed to succeed in Affiliate Marketing.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate Marketing is simply earning commission from selling other people’s products and services. There are several platforms for Affiliate Marketing, some of which are; Afriliate.com, clickbank.com, Jvzoo.com, warriorplus.com, etc.
You can register as an Affiliate Marketer on these platforms and start earning from them but some of these platforms come with different constraints.
Afriliate.com is headquartered in Nigeria but cut across all parts of the world. You can list your product as a vendor on the platform and people can help market your product. As an Affiliate Marketer, you can visit the platform and request to promote a particular product, for instance; an e-book on mini importation, making money through eCommerce, IELTS exam, etc. The site is flexible and accommodates everyone irrespective of location.
Clickbank.com does not support some countries, e.g. Nigeria, and this is why I won’t recommend it. Jvzoo.com doesn’t discriminate but there are some certain constraints like, the mode of payment, which is complex.

Why Fail in Affiliate Marketing?
A lot of people would have learned Affiliate Marketing in this manner; you register, get an affiliate link, advertise on social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, blog, etc.), and then, direct people to the site to make a purchase. No, it doesn’t work like that.
Let’s have a Marketer 1 (M1) and Marketer 2 (M2) scenario. M1 registers, get an affiliate link, advertise products on social media (free or paid), send potential buyers to the capture page, requests for their email address, and redirect them to his sales page.
M2 also registers and gets an affiliate link, advertises products on social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, blog, etc.), sends potential buyers to the capture page (includes four (4) free gifts on the capture page), and requests for their email address.
The inclusion of gifts is the difference between M1 and M2. For instance, if M2 wants to sell a product on mini importation, he can come up with topics like;
- Why do people fail in mini importation?
- What are hot products?
- Types of hot products.
- Choice of products to sell, etc.
then send to the potential buyers as gifts on daily basis.
He can talk about shipping the next day, ‘why air or ship is better’. Day 3 can be an article or a video on the various ways to sell their products. On day 4, he can show them his packed office and evidence of the products he has sold, things that can’t be doctored.
At the end of the fourth day, he says “I know you’ve learned a lot from this but if you want to learn more on the step-by-step procedure, how I moved from my previous level to my present level, click on this link”. He then directs them to his sales page.
M2 has established trust and in this contemporary time, product sales highly depend on trust. At the end of it all, if 100 people drop their email, between 20 to 50 people will purchase the product because trust has been established. The remaining 50 to 80 people can still be sent emails through an autoresponder to keep them in the loop.
You’ve gained their trust and you still have them in mind. Mind you, some may want to buy later because they don’t have the money at that point in time, you can keep on sending them enriching content that will spur them to act and buy. This is how affiliate marketing works.
Unlike the conventional method of advertising which is, go to capture, drop an email, and then go to the sales page. Trust needs to be established. Some booksellers give the first 2 to 3 chapters free because this spurs readers to buy the book. If you want to sell a product on weight loss, you can write an article or make a video talking about health, body mass, differences in the human body, exercise, etc.
Before directing buyers to the sales page. Give the buyers reasons to trust you, then you will be able to make multiple and increased sales. This is a secret that many people who are making it through Affiliate Marketing will not explain to you.
